09/05/2010 - Labdoo laptops delivered in Ndoni

This Summer Labdoo laptops were delivered to the Saint Agnes School in Ndoni, Nigeria. This project shows some of the collaborative concepts behind Labdoo:

(1) Laptops were both collected in Taiwan and California. Those collected in Taiwan were carried to California in a Labdoo collaborator's personal luggage.

(2) Once in California, laptops were sanitized and linux and the education packages were installed.

(3) Laptops were then taken to New York by another Labdoo collaborator and delivered to Pastor Chris who is in charge of the after-school program in Ndoni.

(4) Pastor Chris took the laptops to Ndoni, to assemble the first mini computer lab in the village.

While this was a small initial delivery (5 laptops), the whole process only used excess capacity, including the transportation, by relying on a network of collaborators.
